When the world hands you something wonderful and you take it without saying thank you, it will inevitably be taken back from you. Somethings are meant to only be borrowed from the world. You're supposed to take it, learn from it, and give it back once it taught you a lesson. Other times it just hands you things and you decide if you will learn anything from it or not. Usually in the later case people take it for granted which is when the world usually swoops down and takes it back from you.

Moral of the story, be thankful to what God gives you. Be patient when things go wrong and you have to start on a new path. Be grateful; those people, things, feelings may not be there when you wake up tomorrow.

Life's tough kids. Wear a helmet.

Sometimes I feel myself regretting certain things that I've done or thought. Usually it's because of the consequences that follow. Lately I've been regretting where I've placed my priorities. I have made the conscious decision to take away everything that's important to me and only focus my attention on one of them. Not school, or work, or the guy I'm seeing. Nope I'm putting my attention to God. I regret spending any less time on him. I regret the time I've spent wasted worrying about others or trying to help them in their lives when I should have spent that time focusing on my own relationship with God. Regret is a funny thing though. It can start as a pit in your stomach or force you to end prior engagements.

I give my love to only one.

Fear is something that most people resort to when a situation isn't going the way they planned. Fear that something won't work out. Fear of getting caught. Fear of the outcome of their actions. Fear of what lies ahead. Fear that they're not enough. Fear that they won't make the right choice. Or even fear that they choice they make, may create a wave of destruction.

Fear isn't an emotion most people understand. It usually rises in them as a defense to what they're being faced with. Fear is in fact the presence of your morals rising up to point you in the right direction.

Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.
-Mark Twain

Deuternonomy 31:6
6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

I've learned over this past year how to have patience. May it be with people or situations, patience, is the key to making the right decisions. I've learned that if you make a decision to quickly or without weighing your options, it may be the wrong one. But if you have to make a decision quick... flip a coin.
